Raker Ring Tool
The Raker Ring Tool is a key ring emergency tool for cutting your seat belt, opening a small bottle of oxygen, a pry bar/screwdriver flat tip, and to open your favorite metal capped beverage. The slot for cutting is about 3/16" wide and can be used to cut a variety of materials. Other uses include cutting various strings and threads, parachute cord, braided fishing line, tow strap, used as a gut hook for skinning game, slitting clothing for access to broken bones or other wounds. Sharpening the Ring Tool
I use a tapered diamond rod that was designed for sharpening the serrations on knife blades. After sharpening with the rod, I use a dremal tool with a small cotton wheel with polishing compound to polish the edge. This produced a fine polished edge that will cut. Since the edge can't be used in a slicing motion, this is the best type of edge I have found to work good. For those that do not have the equipment to properly sharpen the cutting edge, I will provide a sharpening service for them. Just send $4.00 with the Ring Tool and that will cover the shipping and handling fee. You can use the same method of shipping as you received it and I will return it the next day. If it works out to be on a week end I am out of town, I will sharpen it as soon as I return.
The damascus is made by Brad Vice of Alabama Damascus and has been waterjet cut by David Curtiss of Great Lakes Water Jet in Granger, Indiana. I complete the tool and heat treat it before it is etched. Each tool comes with a 1 1/4" split ring and is sharpened by hand. There has been several of them carried through the airport.
This damascus Ring Tool is .095" and is of the latest design. It has an unobstructed 1/4" wrench opening and a separate opening for the split key ring.

A thinner sportsman model includes an opening for medical oxygen bottle wrench and removing the broad head for the archer, a wider gut hook/seat belt cutter, a Philips/flat tip screwdriver, and 3/16" wrench. They are offered in 440-C (about 58 RC ) with sand blasted finish and 52100 (about 57 RC) with a tool black finish, All come with a splint ring of 1 1/4 inch diameter that is used to operate the Ring Tool. These tools when kept on the ring with your keys will be there when you need it. They are small enough and can be used for an endless number of cutting applications.
The stainless steel Ring Tool can be used with a lanyard to hang on a boat. The tool has cut the 50 lb braided line easily and could replace having to look for the special scissors. The 52100 with tool black for those that prefer a high carbon steel for their uses. Both have performed quite well in all the cutting tests that have been performed.

This is the new Double Hex Ring Tool. Includes the 1/4" hex and a 10 mm hex wrench. This is the ATS-34 version of the damascus Ring Tool with two hex tools instead of the hex and O2 wrench.
BITE (Striker only)
The damascus striker can used in conjunction with a ferro rod or a magnesium fire starter. It can be carried on your beaded chain and will always be there when you need it. No need to search for a knife to scrape or strike the different fire starters. The damascus for this tool is from Alabama Damascus. I used a 1 1/4" punch to cut them out with and ground the edges and put the bite in at an angle so that it would have a slightly sharp edge to make the sparks.

Pipe Tool
This tool is patterned after a sample pipe cleaner for an order. It is a one time batch and is made with Alabama Damascus. It has the tamper (with added small hole for extra air), scraper, and 1/16" inconel wire for cleaning out the stem.
