The Raker Ring Tool is a key ring emergency tool for cutting your seat belt, opening a small bottle of oxygen, a pry bar/screwdriver flat tip, and to open your favorite metal capped beverage. The slot for cutting is about 3/16" wide and can be used to cut a variety of materials. Other uses include cutting various strings and threads, parachute cord, braided fishing line, tow strap, used as a gut hook for skinning game, slitting clothing for access to broken bones or other wounds. Click here for YouTube Video. Sharpening the Ring Tool I use a tapered diamond rod that was designed for sharpening the serrations on knife blades. After sharpening with the rod, I use a dremal tool with a small cotton wheel with polishing compound to polish the edge. This produced a fine polished edge that will cut. Since the edge can't be used in a slicing motion, this is the best type of edge I have found to work good. For those that do not have the tools to properly sharpen the cutting edge, I will provide a sharpening service for them. Just send $4.00 with the Ring Tool and that will cover the shipping and handling fee. You can use the same method of shipping as you received it and I will return it the next day. If it works out to be on a week end I am out of town, I will sharpen it as soon as I return. Each tool comes with a large split ring and is sharpened by hand. There has been several of them carried through the airport.

This pair of ATS-34 Ring Tools show the two options available when ordering. The top one is for medical oxygen bottle (ATS-34 O2 RT) and bottom one has a 10mm and 1/4" hex (ATS-34 DH RT). Each Ring Tool will be stamped with "RAKER-RT" on one side and cost $25.00, which includes a large stainless steel split ring and shipping.

This mini Ring Tool is made from 1075 and has been cerra coated safety orange for visibility and corrosion protection. It is one and a half inches long and has a medical oxygen bottle opener on it besides the screwdriver and seat belt cutter. It also comes with a large stainless steel split ring for your key ring. The cost of this tool is $16.00, which includes shipping.
